Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) is a mechanism for subcontracting authentication for your website (or other product) to an external identity provider. This is a technology solution that provides the ability to use a single login and password to access multiple platforms integrated with SSO.

SSO refers to a SaaS or similar provider that can be used for all the platforms the business uses securely and transparently through a corporate login.

Being able to manage user account through the identity provider is considered a basic security requirement because it is fundamental for IT and security teams to be able to manage user accounts on different systems and platforms.

Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) was developed on the Zenvia platform (Auth0¹ + Okta - SSO solution) and also your Identity provider (IdP), including the use of OpenIdConnect.

What are the benefits?

The main advantages are simplification of management and access auditing processes, less need to create multiple passwords, and greater agility when accessing platforms, as well as:

- Protecting identity

- Ensure alignment with compliance requirements

- Speed up basic tasks

- Reduce help desk workload

- Facilitate integration between business partners

How to set up the integration

To connect your users to our SSO using the Login Enterprise you'll need to configure the connection on both ends, both on the Zenvia platform (Auth0) and your identity provider (IdP).

The initial requirements for the process when using a SAML + Auth0 and OpenID + Auth) connection are:

  • Domain list: (Ex: "@mysite.com", "@mysite.com.ar"...)

We need the list of domains related to the connection. In other words, we need to know how to recognize the emails of users who belong to this Login Enterprise.

  • profileDefault: (ZENVIA_VIEWER or ZENVIA_OPERATOR)

You'll need to choose the default permission level for a client of the connection in our systems. This information will define which of the following profiles a user will have if we aren't sent a user permission level:

ZENVIA_OPERATOR: Operator profile. Able to perform common operations on our platforms.

ZENVIA_VIEWER: Viewer profile. This user will be able to access the system and see it, but without being able to take any actions.

This will be the login screen that will appear on the desktop version:

And in the mobile version:
